Hiveworks Comics and Udon Entertainment Announce Streetfighter Webcomic Release

July 2, 2015 – Seattle, WA – Hiveworks Comics and Udon Entertainment are proud to announce a groundbreaking publishing deal. Starting today, Hiveworks Comics will be releasing Udon’s Capcom Street Fighter graphic novels online. The partnership will bring Street Fighter series to the internet, free to read for its fans.

Udon Entertainment was originally licensed by Capcom to bring the videogame’s story to life in 2003. Since then, the comic has spawned many volumes and spinoffs – culminating in more than ten full length graphic novels, from the main storyline to origin and side stories for beloved characters like Sakura and Chun-Li.

Street Fighter’s new online release launches today at and kicks off with two classic issues of the series, Street Fighter #0 - #10 from its original print launch in 2013. Issue #0 introduces the reader to Ryu, the franchise’s lead protagonist, and Master Gouken, and Ryu’s epic quest begins. It’s the perfect introduction to the universe, and you’re invited to join us for the ride.
